Works great with proper training!

This app works much better than the $5 whistle I bought at the pet store. I suspect those who gave it a bad rating didnt realize that you MUST find your dogs sensitivity level first by testing the sounds on him/her atleast a few times while sleeping or relaxing (not all dogs are the same)! You need to start at the highest frequency then work down, and be sure to always give a treat or praises once he/she recognizes the sound. Once this has been established, you must train your dog to associate the sound with an action. This is a training AID, not a trainer-in-a-box.

This paid version has a handy bark detecting feature which actually is a bit of an automatic trainer :-) ... There are also a bunch of extra sound patterns too! It would be nice, though, if we could save more than 3 sound sets.

But honestly, when accompanied with training, this is an AWESOME app!!
